Summary

OctoAI is seeking a Director of Web Strategy to join their Go-to-Market Team. The role involves devising and executing comprehensive website strategies, managing a team, identifying new technologies, improving user experience, and driving non-paid traffic to OctoAI’s websites.

Responsibilities

  • Devise and execute comprehensive website strategies across all web experiences that align with OctoAI’s overall business objectives
  • Develop and be held accountable to a budget, timeline, and resourcing plan to effectively and efficiently execute your strategies
  • Clearly communicate your plans within the organization to your Go-To-Market teammates, across to peers in Product/Engineering, and upwards to Executive Leadership
  • Manage, mentor, and advise the team to grow their skills and knowledge and enable them to achieve their career goals
  • Look to build scalable processes that allow the team to execute and make quick decisions based on imperfect data
  • Identify new, best-of-breed technologies, automation, and AI tools that allow the team to deliver excellent work with increasing efficiency
  • Identify long term organization design, determining where we need to continue leveraging internal vs. external resources
  • Implement strategies to drive non-paid traffic to OctoAI’s websites, maximizing visibility and reach with accountability to quarterly goals
  • Leverage your developer resources to ensure our websites are built with best-in-class performance and SEO best practices in place
  • Drive and execute the creation of SEO content that will drive users based on their intent at the top, mid, and bottom of the funnel
  • Research and identify opportunities to leverage AI in our overall SEO content strategy
  • Scale the QoQ business impact of our traffic with quality signups and leads through a robust strategy, as created by you!
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize website conversion rates (CRO), turning visitors into customers and advocates
  • Identify and build our website CRO roadmap and testing plan in partnership with Product to enhance quality top-of-funnel signups
  • Communicate the results of the test and next steps to a larger audience across Leadership, Product, and Marketing teammates
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the user experience, ensuring seamless paths for visitors to the product and creating user journeys designed for our best customers
  • Building free tools, demos, and web resources that highlight the value of our products to new users
  • Leverage analytics tools to gather insights into website performance, user behavior, user testing, and trends. Use data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Own and implement weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting that showcases channel performance for all non-paid growth and recommend strategies needed to improve or scale
  • Present strategies and progress toward goals to many different audiences including Marketing, Product/Engineering leadership, and our Executive Team
  • Create reports that can shared across the marketing team and used for presentation to leadership and board slides
  • Work closely with the broader Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to align website initiatives with company goals, responding to and prioritizing external requests accordingly
  • In partnership with the Product Marketing Team, establish the value of our platform and products to both new and existing users across our web experiences
  • Enable anyone who needs to publish content across our website with easy-to-use tooling and easy-to-follow best practices for quality content
