Director, Product Management - Data And AI Governance

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, prioritize features based on customer feedback and business objectives, and mentor team members. Requirements

• Deep understanding of governance frameworks (e.g. policy management, Access control or/and compliance)
• Proven ability to engage deeply with customers, particularly large and complex organizations, to identify their needs and translate them into impactful product solutions
• Ability to navigate complex customer workflows and build intuitive solutions for technical and non-technical users alike
• Experience managing and growing product teams
• Strong communication skills to inspire cross-functional teams and ensure alignment across stakeholders
• Track record of driving end-to-end product development, from ideation to launch, with a relentless focus on outcomes
• Proficiency in balancing short-term wins and long-term vision in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable collaborating with engineers to make technical trade-offs and prioritize features based on impact
• Knowledge of AI and data governance technologies and standards, such as data classification, access controls, and lineage tracking

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the product vision and strategy for Atlan’s AI and Data Governance solutions
• Stay ahead of industry trends in AI and data governance and translate them into actionable strategies for Atlan
• Partner closely with large and complex customers to deeply understand their AI and data governance challenges, workflows, and needs
• Ensure customer-centricity in everything we build, from the smallest feature to the largest roadmap initiative
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, and customer success) to build, launch, and iterate on AI and data governance products that drive customer value
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, data insights, and business objectives
• Act as a thought leader and inspire teams by articulating a compelling vision for AI and Data Governance at Atlan
• Mentor and guide product managers and other team members, ensuring their growth aligns with company goals
• Define success metrics for AI and data governance solutions and continuously measure their impact
• Identify areas for improvement and drive actions to ensure the success of governance initiatives
