Requirements

  • 7-10+ years in Sustainability/CSR program development and communications, with demonstrated success at a high growth brand
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strategic thinker with proven success developing impact program strategies and initiatives; exhibits collaborative approach and problem-solving skills
  • Storyteller with outstanding communication skills, demonstrating ability to influence and to transform complex narratives into messaging that connects with a variety of internal and external audiences
  • Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • A flexible and adaptable mindset with the willingness to embrace change, pivot strategies when necessary, and seize new opportunities as they arise
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and driving impactful sustainability and social impact programs
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
  • Familiarity with greenhouse gas accounting protocols, renewable energy systems, and sustainability frameworks. Prior experience in GHG inventory measurement

Responsibilities

  • Lead ESG Impact Reporting and Communications
  • Drive the preparation and publication of Chomps’ annual impact report and other Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) regulatory reporting requirements
  • Identify opportunities for sustainability and social impact recognition, credentials, and awards, while also preparing the brand for B Corp re-certification
  • Monitor and report on emerging issues, trends, and the success of our impact communications initiatives, in close collaboration with the Sr Brand Director and PR team
  • Identify tools and technology for measuring impact, acting as ambassador for implementing new processes
  • Support Sales and Business Analytics teams in developing materials for key sales meetings
  • Develop Environment Measurement and Management Programs
  • Partner with internal and external partners to collect, analyze, and report data related to sustainability and social impact initiatives, leading opportunities for emission management
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate emission reduction strategies into daily operations
  • Develop and drive progress on regenerative agriculture initiatives and sustainable sourcing practices in collaboration with the Operations and Innovation team
  • Represent the sustainability viewpoint for end-to-end innovation projects to deliver business value
  • Continuously adapt and learn as new legislation is introduced and/or key priorities change
  • Social Impact and Philanthropic Giving
  • Lead the execution of Chomps social impact strategy, focusing on h ealthy food access, healthy lifestyle and protecting the planet
  • Own partnership with existing sustainability partners like 4Ocean, building continued depth and programming to maximize impact
  • Develop, nurture, and manage partnerships with organizations that align with Chomps mission and impact narrative
  • Coordinate employee volunteer programs and other social impact activities
  • Track and report on the impact of Chomps’ philanthropic investments
