Join our team as a Director, Worldwide (WW) Technical Solutions and drive innovation and evolution across the global technical sales organization. As a key leader, you will envision, build, and evolve tools, processes, and programs to increase productivity and revenue acceleration.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the Systems Engineering/Solutions Consulting role
  • Experience bringing new tools and processes to market
  • Ability to think strategically and operationally - define strategic outcomes, analytical approach, success metrics, operational path, ability to influence stakeholders to drive results
  • Possess a combination of strong management, technical and business acumen
  • Strong work ethic, disciplined execution skills, willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver results
  • Industry knowledge of security product market trends and directional awareness of Palo Alto Network’s technology
  • Self-starter who thrives in problem-solving with little direct supervision
  • Ability to learn quickly with a high tolerance for complexity
  • Demonstrated experience in working directly with customers at senior levels within an organization, as well as working with industry partners and alliances
  • Ability to leads teams across direct reports and dotted line reporting structures ;Self-directed and possessing the ability to lead a cross-functional project from the ground up
  • Decisive leadership with a passion for the business and a proven sense of urgency
  • Forward-thinker who is highly focused and capable of creating an evolving strategy to anticipate and meet near and long-term development issues

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with theater Technical Solutions leaders, Domain Leaders and Operations to drive productivity and capacity within the organization
  • Develop and evolve the technical solutions organization and structure to meet the needs of our customers across all sectors (Cortex, Prisma Cloud, and Strata)
  • Drive consistency in organization structure including job leveling, hiring, career progression, capacity planning and performance management
  • Own and drive key initiatives in the Technical Solutions organization including but not limited to skill gap analysis, upleveling and overall communication strategy
  • Continuously evolve the technical sales organization to align with our customer's digital journey
  • Collaborate across multiple internal business partners, including human resources, product, finance, legal, compliance, and risk, to ensure the quality of deliverables
  • Flawless execution of key projects/initiatives across the various functions
  • Drive consensus and ensure that all parties are well-aligned on key initiatives
  • Develop and own outcome-oriented Technical Solutions initiatives that drive pipeline, sales and customer value with the Technical Solutions and Sales leaders to drive greater efficiencies and success globally
  • Define & develop innovative tools and processes to increase productivity in the field and offer a better Customer Experience
  • Identify and execute initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence by ensuring key projects have clear milestones, success measures, and operational plans
  • Drive team member engagement to foster a culture of development, influence, inclusiveness, and work-life experience
