Search Engine Optimization Director

Summary

Join Bankrate as a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Director and lead a team of growth marketing analysts to drive organic growth for Bankrate's Insurance and Banking verticals. As a SEO Director, you will have autonomy to build a strategy and work with internal product teams to develop tooling to support that strategy & learn faster.

Requirements

• Someone who wants to work remotely from home: Opportunity to start remotely or at the Fort Mill Office is an option. Ability to support Red Ventures Operations by working 9 am to 5 pm Eastern Time is needed
• Someone who can travel on a monthly basis: Ability to work at the Red Ventures’ Corporate Headquarters in Fort Mill, SC, on a monthly basis on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays is needed. Ability to work from home the other weeks

Responsibilities

• Own the organic performance of one (or more) of Bankrate’s vertical businesses and lead a team of 1-5 growth marketing analysts with varying experience levels
• Analyze organic search landscapes to find opportunities that drive valuable traffic and bottom-line value for the business in collaboration with our experience and business teams
• Test, innovate, and build custom solutions with our world-class digital marketing, data science, and big data talent
• Set and experiment with content promotion strategy with experience and creative teams using a wide array of digital tools and channels
• Leverage our proprietary primary source marketing stack to report on everything from operational (production) progress to upper funnel demand capture, rank position, and full funnel visibility to conversion and P&L metrics
• Keep our sites and pages technically optimized for mobile users and search performance - including information architecture, schema management, semantic HTML, page speed, and other components of crawling and indexing performance
