Distribution Associate

Summary

Join AvantStay, a rapidly growing tech-enabled hospitality company, as a Distribution Associate! This fully remote, global role (PST hours) is crucial for optimizing the distribution of 2,000+ listings across 40+ OTAs. You will manage channel distribution, minimize downtime, collaborate with partners, analyze performance, and implement best practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and possesses strong problem-solving skills. Experience in vacation rentals or similar fields is preferred but not required; we provide training. Requirements

• Comfortable working with technology, data analytics, and troubleshooting listing issues
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly adapt and resolve issues across multiple platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized approach

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accurate and optimized distribution of listings across all OTAs and direct booking platforms
• Monitor platforms to identify and resolve any listing issues, syncing errors, or outages in real-time
• Serve as the main point of contact for OTA representatives, working closely with them to resolve issues and enhance performance
• Regularly analyze channel data and booking trends to identify opportunities for increased visibility and revenue growth
• Keep up with industry trends, OTA algorithm changes, and platform updates to ensure all listings follow the latest optimization techniques
• Work with the revenue, product, marketing, and policy teams to align distribution strategies with company goals
• Utilize Property Management Systems (PMS), channel managers, and data analytics tools to maintain listing accuracy and efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in vacation rentals, short-term rentals (STR), hospitality, travel tech, or e-commerce
• Familiarity with OTAs (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia, etc.) and how they operate
• Prior experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) or channel management tools
• Additional languages
• Flexibility to work with global teams across different time zones
