Summary
Join us at Vercel as a Developer Experience (DX) Engineer to help maintain and enhance the Next.js documentation site. As a DX Engineer, you will be responsible for triaging community issues, updating and maintaining documentation, and acting as a public advocate for Next.js.
Requirements
- You have experience building with Next.js, and while you donβt need to be an expert, youβre comfortable using it and can provide examples of your work
- You enjoy writing and have demonstrated this through blog posts, tutorials, or other forms of technical writing
- You have experience with frontend tools like TypeScript, MDX, Markdown, and Git
- You are passionate about sharing knowledge and helping others learn
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the Next.js documentation site content and codebase
- Be a public builder - creating examples, demos and tutorials to teach developers about Next.js features and best practices
- Act as βcustomer zeroβ by ensuring documentation is aligned with real-world developer needs
- Triage and address community issues related to the documentation
- Review and refine documentation for clarity, technical accuracy, and adherence to the style guide
- Collaborate with the Next.js core team to ensure the documentation accurately reflects and supports core features and real-world use cases
