EDI Engineer

Summary

Join Shipwell, a fast-growing company revolutionizing the shipping industry, as an EDI Onboarding Specialist. You will play a crucial role in facilitating the onboarding process for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) customers, ensuring seamless integration and data exchange. This position requires proven experience in EDI onboarding and integration, a strong understanding of EDI standards, and excellent communication skills. You will guide new EDI partners through the onboarding process, coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensure adherence to EDI standards, troubleshoot integration issues, and serve as the primary point of contact for EDI partners.

Requirements

• Proven experience in EDI onboarding and integration
• Strong understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and protocols
• Familiarity with ERP systems and business processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools related to EDI

Responsibilities

• Guide and support new EDI partners through the onboarding process
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for successful integration
• Ensure adherence to EDI standards and best practices during the onboarding process
• Work closely with IT teams to integrate EDI solutions into existing systems and applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure smooth data exchange between partners
• Conduct thorough testing of EDI transactions to validate accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with partners to resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during testing
• Serve as the primary point of contact for EDI partners, addressing inquiries and providing timely updates on onboarding progress
