Join Axios Pro Deals as a Deals Editor and oversee the elevation of our deals news coverage, focusing on climate and supply chain sectors. You will support a reporting team in their pursuit of scoops and data-driven insights, while also contributing your own reporting. This player-coach role requires sharp news judgment, the ability to generate compelling stories, and proven editing experience. The starting salary is $125,000-$145,000, dependent on location and experience. • Possess sharp news judgment and familiarity with Axios’ news sensibility
• Demonstrate the ability to generate and execute on stories that elevate coverage beyond the news cycle
• Have proven experience editing and upholding editorial standards
• Be a collaborative and strong communicator, able to work across many parts of the newsroom

• Support a reporting team in their pursuit of scoops, data-driven insights, and distinctive pieces
