EDW Data Analyst

Summary

Join our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team as a highly experienced Data Analyst! This telecommute position (with occasional travel) focuses on analyzing healthcare data, developing reports, and ensuring data integrity. You will leverage your SQL expertise and data warehousing knowledge to support healthcare-related data systems. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and collaboration skills, along with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities. This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior team members and stay current with emerging technologies. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting
• 5+ years of SQL development, including performance tuning
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong team collaboration and adaptability

Responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare-related data to support business decision-making
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using SQL and other BI tools
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend technical solutions
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reports and analyses
• Perform data profiling and validation to identify data anomalies
• Document data processes and maintain technical documentation
• Provide regular project updates to customers and maintain strong communication
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical training as needed
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
• Perform additional duties as required to support project and organizational goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare-related data systems
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Familiarity with data warehousing best practices
• Experience working in Agile environments
