Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university
• Registered Professional Engineer or the ability to sit for the exam within 12 months
• 7+ years of experience
• Current knowledge of appropriate codes and technologies
• Proficiency in the use of state-of-the-art tools for engineering design and documentation
• Thorough understanding of engineering systems within a specific discipline
• Knowledge of advanced engineering principles and calculations
• Expertise in the area of concentration
• Effective communication skills
• Demonstrated thoroughness in design coordination and contract document development
• Must be based in MEXICO

Responsibilities

• Estimating, monitoring, and controlling construction costs
• Coordinating engineering requirements with architecture and other engineering disciplines
• Timely and appropriate processing of contractor submittals
• Maintaining project files and calculations for assigned projects
• Ensuring quality and completeness of the engineering design
• Performing or supervising on-site condition surveys
• Assessing project staffing needs
• Monitoring conformance to project scope and documenting deviations
• Preparing technical reports
• Participating in client meetings regarding engineering systems
• Mentoring staff and providing supervision to other engineering team members on a project
