Requirements

  • Be passionate about PCB design and enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Possess a strong academic background (BS/MS/PhD) in Electrical Engineering with a solid foundation in Analog and Digital Electronics
  • Have 5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering in the automotive, robotics, aerospace or other similar fields
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of mixed signal board design and signal integrity
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a dynamic team environment

Responsibilities

  • Design schematics for high voltage Electronic components
  • Optimize multi-layer board layout along with stackup definition and relevant IPC standards for High voltage creepage and clearance requirements
  • Work closely with powertrain and mechanical engineering teams to identify thermal and mechanical constraints for components on PCBs
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for PCB manufacturing along with review of DFM and DFA requirements
  • Work closely with the supply chain team to provide inputs on RFQs and lead-time requirements
  • Perform board stackup and architecture study targeted at high power density and efficiency
  • Define ICT test strategy and design PCBs for high-volume manufacturing
  • Manage Altium part libraries and footprints
  • Generate technical reports and present at critical review meetings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have prior experience in working with 800V systems in the area of power electronics
  • Have experience with EMI qualification process such as CISPR-25
  • Possess experience and familiarity with Altium Designer or similar schematics capture and PCB layout tool
  • Have experience working with PCB manufacturing for large volume builds
  • Have experience with circuit simulation software such as LTspice
