Senior Electrical Engineer

Summary

Join Akuo, an independent renewable energy producer, as a Senior Electrical Engineer in the Structuring & Execution (S&E) department. You will be part of the Electrical Engineering team focusing on grid-related topics for global projects. Responsibilities include supporting grid connection, managing consultants and subcontractors, assessing grid connection risks, defining technical specifications for contracts, and leading technical discussions with various stakeholders. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical infrastructure projects, international exposure, proficiency in French and English, and skills in relay coordination and medium/high voltage equipment. Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience working on electrical infrastructure projects
• International and multicultural exposure, and proficiency in both French and English
• Skilled in relay coordination study
• Skilled in Medium & High voltage equipment standards, high voltage substations, grid connection studies, grid integration

Responsibilities

• Support on grid connection topics to projects worldwide
• Management of consultant and subcontractors in engineering topics
• Risk assessment related to grid connection topics for projects in different countries
• Definition of technical specifications for EPC contracts, purchase of equipment and engineering services
• Leading technical discussions with technical advisors, insurers and EPC contractors

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Spanish as we have many projects in the Latam region
• Renewable energy experience
