Summary

Atomic Semi is hiring electrical engineering interns for the fall term. The interns will design, prototype, and build electronics for semiconductor fabrication equipment and collaborate with adjacent engineering teams. Applicants should have a strong foundation in electrical engineering and hands-on prototyping experience.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering
• Ability to learn quickly and troubleshoot technical problems
• Hands-on prototyping experience and the ability to move through design cycles quickly
• Strong foundation in electrical engineering (KiCad/Altium, microcontrollers, embedded systems, digital circuits, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Circuit design, component selection, board design, etc
• Designing, prototyping, and building electronics for semiconductor fabrication equipment
• Working with adjacent engineering teams (mechanical, embedded systems) to determine requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with semiconductor processing— thin film deposition & etching, photolithography, etc
• Experience with Python scripting and data visualization
