Requirements
- Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field with 5 years of experience
- Hands-on experience in electrical validation, electrical failure analysis, and design of experiments (DOE)
- Proficiency in electrical diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzer, TDR, curve tracer, DMM, Oakgate
- Experience with Cadence Allegro Viewer, LTSpice and Data Analysis tools
- Experience with electrical interfaces such as I2C, UART, JTAG, SMBus, SPI, PCIe
- Familiarity with analytical tools such as Microscope, FLIR, XRAY
- Familiarity with JEDEC standards - NAND, DRAM, SRAM
- Ability to work with various OS - Windows and Linux, and write test and automation scripts with C and/or python
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to conclusions and ability to understand and communicate complex concepts
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed electrical failure analysis on components, circuits, and systems to identify root causes of failures
- Use advanced diagnostic and analytical tools, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzer, TDR, DMM to conduct failure investigations
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to develop corrective and preventive measures
- Document findings in comprehensive reports, presenting root-cause analysis and actionable recommendations to stakeholders
- Lead and/or assist in defining strategies for failure analysis processes and methodologies
Benefits
For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $89,620 - $143,200. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location
