Summary

National Power, LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Journeyman to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in various settings. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of experience in commercial electrical installation, excellent communication skills, good computer skills, and be comfortable with Microsoft software.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience in commercial electrical installation
• Familiarity with OSHA and NFPA70 regulations, as well as standard electrical safety practices
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Good computer skills and comfort with Microsoft software

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems
• Terminate electrical panels, circuit breakers, and transformers properly
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and manufacturer's specifications accurately
• Complete preventative maintenance on electrical and grounding systems
• Inspect electrical components for wear and corrosion
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and devices effectively
• Complete all job-related documentation accurately
• Work collaboratively with team members, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of four-year electrical apprenticeship
