Electrician

Summary

The job is for an Electrician at National Power in the Toledo, OH area. The employee will perform lead electrical work, install, repair, and service electrical systems, interpret blueprints, guide other electricians, obtain equipment, test and troubleshoot electrical systems, provide assistance during emergencies, update project records, and prepare relevant documents and reports.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED; Associate degree in an Electrical or related field preferred
• Minimum of 6 years in commercial electrical work (experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Perform lead electrical work
• Install, repair, and service electrical systems
• Source or fabricate replacement electrical components
• Interpret blueprints and carry out work accordingly, with knowledge of the NEC
• Guide and oversee other electricians as necessary
• Obtain required equipment, tools, and materials for projects
• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Provide assistance during emergencies
• Update project records and prepare relevant documents and reports

Preferred Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician License is preferred
