Summary

Join Power Digital, a tech-enabled growth firm, as a Lifecycle Marketing Strategist. You will be responsible for defining and driving email and SMS marketing strategies for clients, managing daily email marketing operations, building automated email programs, collaborating with the creative team, reporting on performance, and optimizing campaigns using data and AI technologies. This role requires 2-5 years of experience in email marketing, strong analytical and copywriting skills, hands-on experience with email platforms (Klaviyo, Hubspot, Braze), and expertise in email best practices. You will work closely with various departments and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem. Success will be measured by managing multiple accounts, maintaining low client churn, and achieving defined EBITDA goals. This is an independent contractor position.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years experience in email marketing strategy, production and end-to-end campaign management
  • Strong analytical and strategic copywriting skills, understanding of A/B testing practices, ability to draw conclusions from data and take action accordingly
  • Hands-on experience with email platforms such as Klaviyo, Hubspot, Braze, or similar
  • Expertise in email best practices, including segmentation, deliverability, copy and design approaches
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email coding
  • Strong communication, rapport building and presentation skills, as well as the ability to navigate difficult conversations
  • Manages 5-7 enterprise or growth accounts
  • Below 10% client churn rate
  • Hitting defined EBIDTA goal
  • Strategic management of email and SMS campaigns, innovating and/or optimizing to maximize performance
  • Professional communication - ability to present clearly and concisely and problem solve
  • Adoption of Power Digitalโ€™s processes, product innovations and tools

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive email marketing and SMS strategy for the PDM clients
  • Manage daily operations of the email marketing channel โ€“ marketing calendar, strategy and content, build and deployment of email campaigns, as well as A/B testing, measurement and reporting
  • Build and manage automated email marketing programs for our clients and ensure end-to-end tracking and proper measurement
  • Collaborate with creative team to ensure brand guidelines are followed in emails
  • Report and provide recommendations on lifecycle programsโ€™ performance monthly to clients
  • Use data to continuously test, measure and optimize the email marketing program
  • Partner and collaborate cross-functionally with all other internal digital channels
  • Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
  • Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department
