Remote Embedded Engineer II

Summary

The job is for a key team member driving innovation in embedded systems and IoT initiatives. The employee will create technical documents, review schematics of IoT hardware, collaborate with engineers, mentor junior staff, participate in the entire software development lifecycle, troubleshoot complex issues, and have proficiency in various programming languages, IoT protocols, and AWS IoT services.

Requirements

• Excellent documentation skills
• Proficiency in C and assembly programming languages
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging abilities for embedded systems
• In-depth knowledge of Firmware Security
• Proficient in working with Bootloaders
• Understanding of various IoT protocols and communication technologies, including LNS, LoRa, MQTT, and others
• Familiarity with AWS IoT services and cloud computing

Responsibilities

• Craft high-quality technical documents and articles
• Review schematics of IOT hardware with precision and expertise
• Collaborate with fellow engineers to ensure systems meet specifications
• Serve as a mentor, providing guidance and support to junior engineers

• Implement low-level firmware and device drivers for IoT devices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues within embedded systems
