Summary

Join AC Disaster Consulting as a Case Manager and provide direct supervision and support to case management teams. This temporary, full-time remote position requires 25% travel to Florida. You will supervise up to 10 case managers, manage the Elevate Florida portal, provide training, conduct QA/QC checks, and ensure policy compliance. The role demands strong communication, organizational skills, and familiarity with state and local governments. A minimum of one year of case management experience, a high school diploma, and 3-5 years of management experience are required. Preference is given to local candidates.

Requirements

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information
  • Capable of multi-tasking when necessary
  • Strong familiarity with state and local governments is necessary
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated
  • One year case management experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of management experience
  • At least 1 year of FEMA grants management experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsored visa is required. We are not able to employ those located outside of the US
  • Must pass company and any applicable client background check and reference check upon offer of employment

Responsibilities

  • Assist all Divisions in direct client support and deliverables, as needed
  • Work as a part of the FL Elevate leadership team
  • Provide direct supervision to up to 10 case managers
  • Manage and review inputs into the Elevate Florida portal for case managers
  • Stay current with and provide detailed training on new program standards and policies
  • Provide QA/QC checks on case managers client service and documentation standards
  • Attend meetings and conference calls with clients
  • Manage individual workload, productivity, and communications that enable accurate, efficient, and policy compliance processing
  • Understand program needs, policies, departmental process flows, and standard operating procedures
  • Review records for inconsistencies, investigate and resolve issues with analysis and customer service skills
  • Communicate, resolve, and escalate problems and concerns according to proper protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Case management experience with housing programs
  • At least 1 year FEMA HMA grant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management or a related field
  • At least one year of case management supervisory experience with related funding programs
