Summary

Join Sunrise ABA as their EMR Manager and oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and optimization of their Central Reach electronic medical records (EMR) system. You will ensure the EMR system supports clinical and operational workflows while complying with regulations. Collaborate with clinical staff, revenue cycle staff, and vendors to improve system performance and user satisfaction. Responsibilities include performing updates, developing documentation, acting as the primary point of contact for EMR issues, implementing system improvements, and delivering training programs. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 2-3 years of Central Reach management experience, and strong knowledge of healthcare workflows and regulatory requirements. Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field (Masterโ€™s preferred)
  • At least 2-3 years of experience managing Central Reach
  • At least 1-2 years experience in creating, rolling out, and maintaining Central Reach based BI Dashboards
  • Proficiency in Central Reach
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare workflows and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, etc)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Sunrise EMR system, Central Reach. Ensure its reliability, security, and performance
  • Perform regular updates, patches, and system upgrades to keep Central Reach current and compliant
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including user manuals, workflows, and training materials
  • Act as the primary point of contact for EMR-related issues and inquiries
  • Work with clinical, revenue cycle, and administrative teams to identify and implement system improvements
  • Develop and deliver training programs to staff on effective EMR usage
  • Conduct onboarding sessions for new employees to ensure they are proficient in using the EMR system
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements related to electronic health records
  • Generate reports and analytics to support clinical and operational decision-making
  • Conduct regular audits of the EMR system to ensure data accuracy and security
