Summary

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall direction, management, quality control and completion of project deliverables
  • Develop and manage multiple complex project budgets, timelines, processes, and tasks with minimal oversight
  • Manage the design and implementation of multiple projects and bring them to conclusion
  • Organize and facilitate meetings with key subject matter experts and other project stakeholders
  • Proactively communicate project progress to management and clients
  • Interact with customers, clients, and external collaborators
  • Conduct market research and data analysis
  • Track industry trends and other market changes that impact energy efficiency
  • Lead proposal content development efforts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have a bachelor's degree with an energy focus, preference being towards engineering, environmental science or public policy
  • Have a minimum of five years of related work experience
  • Have experience working on Department of Energy’s (DOE) Appliance Standards Program
  • Have technical experience in the field of HVAC, water heating, decarbonization, demand response, distributed generation, data analytics, and related technology solutions
  • Have experience with energy codes and standards and/or specification development
  • Possess strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, including risk management and mitigation
  • Demonstrate the ability to conduct detailed technical and quantitative analysis
  • Possess strong organizational and project management skills. Formal project management training preferred
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact professionally with clients and to serve as the primary point of client contact on projects
  • Possess excellent personal accountability and quality control practices
  • Have intermediate experience using Microsoft Office and familiarity with task management software

  • Compensation is commensurate with experience within the pay band of $79,000- $92,000/ Annually
