Remote Energy Engineer

Join our growing technical services team as a highly motivated Energy Engineer to develop and implement environment, social, and governance (ESG) strategies and initiatives to support global commercial real estate clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree: Engineering, Environmental Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Engineering Technology, other related fields
• Passion for sustainability and green buildings
• A self-motivator with a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively work with a team
• Detail-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Perform ENERGY STAR benchmarking
• Environmental performance data analysis (energy, water, greenhouse gas emissions, waste)
• Support with various sustainability reports
• Conduct energy audits (ASHRAE Level I & II)
• ENERGY STAR labels
• Indoor air quality (IAQ) assessments
• Green building certifications (LEED, Fitwel, WELL, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager
• Knowledge of sustainability reporting initiatives such as GRESB, CDP, UNPRI, etc
• Knowledge of green building certifications such as LEED, Fitwel, WELL, IREM
