Energy Engineer

Summary

Verdani Partners is seeking a full-time Energy Engineer with strong skills in data analysis, communication, and time management to develop ESG strategies and initiatives. The role involves ENERGY STAR benchmarking, environmental performance data analysis, energy audits, IAQ assessments, and green building certifications. Travel may be required when it is safe to do so.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree: Engineering, Environmental Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Engineering Technology, other related fields

Responsibilities

• Perform ENERGY STAR benchmarking
• Perform environmental performance data analysis (energy, water, greenhouse gas emissions, waste)
• Support with various sustainability reports
• Conduct energy audits (ASHRAE Level I & II)
• Perform ENERGY STAR labels assessments
• Perform indoor air quality (IAQ) assessments
• Support green building certifications (LEED, Fitwel, WELL, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree: Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Field other related fields
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE)
• LEED Green Associate or LEED Accredited Professional – EBOM
• Certified Energy Manager or Certified Energy Auditor
