Join Storable as a highly skilled Engagement Manager to lead complex custom software implementations and professional services projects for our most strategic enterprise clients. You will serve as the central orchestrator of project delivery, bridging our executive-level clients and internal teams. Your expertise will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to scope, aligning seamlessly with client objectives and Storable's product vision. You will strategically lead the entire project lifecycle, cultivate strong client relationships, and collaborate with various internal teams. You will also drive alignment between custom solutions and Storable's product strategy, manage project financials, and champion operational excellence within the Professional Services team. This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years of progressive experience in a relevant field, and deep expertise in SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in Professional Services, Engagement Management, or a Senior Project Management role within a SaaS organization serving enterprise-level clients
- Deep expertise in Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) , particularly Agile methodologies, and their practical application in custom software projects
- Demonstrated success in complex cross-functional collaboration , effectively partnering with Sales, Product, Engineering, Account Management, and Legal teams to achieve shared objectives
- Exceptional executive presence and client-facing skills , with a proven ability to build and nurture strategic relationships, influence stakeholders, and communicate complex information clearly and persuasively to C-suite and senior leadership
- Extensive experience with financial management of projects , including budget planning, cost control, forecasting, risk management, and a track record of driving project profitability
- Expert-level proficiency in crafting comprehensive and legally sound Statements of Work (SOWs) and other project documentation
- All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Responsibilities
- Strategically lead and oversee the entire lifecycle of custom software development and professional services projects , from initial scoping and planning through meticulous execution and successful delivery
- Cultivate and maintain strong, executive-level relationships with our largest customers, acting as their primary strategic point of contact for projects and ensuring exceptional communication and satisfaction
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Account Management to deeply understand complex customer needs , translating them into comprehensive, actionable project plans, detailed requirements, and robust Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Drive alignment between custom solutions, Storable's evolving product strategy, and engineering capacity , advocating for scalable and sustainable solutions
- Act as primary bridge between Client and Product & Engineering teams , facilitating planning conversations and ongoing UAT and launch
- Ensure rigorous project governance , maintaining comprehensive documentation and providing clear, concise, and timely status updates to both internal stakeholders and client executives
- Proactively monitor and analyze project performance metrics , translating data into actionable insights for continuous improvement and strategic decision-making with clients and internal teams
- Expertly manage project financials , including meticulous budget oversight, cost tracking, accurate forecasting, proactive risk mitigation, and identifying opportunities to enhance project profitability and efficiency
- Champion operational excellence within the Professional Services team by identifying, developing, and implementing best practices in project delivery, client engagement, and process optimization
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certifications are highly preferred
