Summary

Join Hakkoda, a modern data consultancy, as an Engagement Manager to lead client engagements, own the vision for Hakkoda's Delivery Methodology, and guide team members. You'll work directly with clients, build on your leadership skills, and leverage your interest in inspiring others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree a MUST (preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field)
  • 8+ years of experience managing technical projects
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, preferably in data migration or related IT projects
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations
  • Analytical thinking and detail oriented mentality
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Mondays.com ) and Agile collaboration platforms

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a servant leader for one or more Agile teams involved in data migration projects
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Coach team members on Agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Remove impediments and ensure the team has everything they need to meet sprint objectives
  • Shield the team from external distractions and influences to maintain focus and productivity
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize backlog items and define project goals
  • Track project progress, monitor key metrics, and communicate status updates to stakeholders
  • Manage risks and dependencies, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions while adhering to project timelines and budgets
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment conducive to creativity and innovation
  • Encourage open communication, transparency, and constructive feedback among team members
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing to maximize team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity, quality, and delivery outcomes
  • Conduct retrospective meetings to reflect on past sprints and identify areas for improvement
  • Implement Agile best practices and frameworks to optimize project delivery and team performance
