Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in engineering management, talent operations, or resourcing in a tech consulting or product company
- Strong technical background and the ability to assess engineers across backend, frontend, DevOps, and architecture domains
- Proven ability to lead performance reviews, create growth plans, and coach engineers toward measurable advancement
- Experience managing distributed teams across regions and time zones (LATAM, Europe, US)
- Familiarity with developer tools, performance metrics, and AI-enhanced workflows
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly in cross-functional and partner-facing contexts
- Strong operational instincts with experience using tools like Google Sheets, Notion, dashboards, and applicant tracking systems
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain individual Growth Plans for engineers, aligned with company goals and personal aspirations
- Conduct technical assessments and collect peer/stakeholder feedback as part of annual performance reviews
- Monitor progress of growth plans, identify blockers, and proactively support development
- Coach engineers on technical growth, product thinking, partner engagement, and ownership mindset
- Partner with leadership to evolve and implement a transparent engineering performance framework
- Support onboarding and ramp-up plans for new hires to accelerate time-to-productivity
- Maintain a real-time view of engineering availability, technology stacks, roles, and project assignments
- Track utilization metrics and bench status, proactively identifying underused talent and facilitating smart reallocation
- Support internal mobility, matching engineers with opportunities that align with their interests and strengths
- Collaborate with the talent team to open positions based on performance reviews, team changes, and future needs
- Work with the Talent team to define candidate profiles based on skill gaps, succession planning, and upcoming needs
- Contribute to the calibration of interview feedback and ensure consistency across engineering evaluations
- Lead onboarding and ramp-up tracking to ensure smooth integration and early engagement success
- Coordinate with Account and Partner Success Managers to anticipate staffing needs and backfill requirements
- Participate in pre-sales or scoping conversations to shape technical team proposals
- Assist with partner alignment by supporting role scoping, capacity planning, and team introductions
- Promote engineering community rituals such as tech talks, feedback sessions, and mentorship initiatives
- Foster a culture of transparency, curiosity, and inclusion within distributed engineering teams
- Encourage the use of AI assistants and internal enablement tools for developer productivity
