Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field and/or relevant work experience
  • Have experience with reading and understanding general engineering documents, including drawings and specifications
  • Be able to work or travel to client sites
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook)
  • Be highly organized, deadline driven, and detail oriented
  • Be flexible, analytical, and willing to tackle challenging work
  • Be able to work independently and collaboratively in an open environment
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills (able to present technical matters in a clear and concise manner)
  • Be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Be able to exchange accurate information with staff/clients who have inquiries
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a mouse, keyboard, scanner, copier, and calculator

Responsibilities

  • Review existing documentation for key information and specifications
  • Analyze data using appropriate quantitative methods
  • Review and verify tabular and spatial data against design or completion drawings for accuracy and consistency
  • Provide client with necessary documentation and reports
  • Update and inform project coordinator with relevant project status and information
  • Perform engineering design and calculations, with minimal supervision
  • Review construction documents and report
  • Monitor and ensure maintenance of tracking logs and all project coordination tools to include project status, challenges, estimated project end date, and project completion
