Requirements
- Possess a Bachelorβs Degree in Engineering or related field and/or relevant work experience
- Have experience with reading and understanding general engineering documents, including drawings and specifications
- Be able to work or travel to client sites
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook)
- Be highly organized, deadline driven, and detail oriented
- Be flexible, analytical, and willing to tackle challenging work
- Be able to work independently and collaboratively in an open environment
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills (able to present technical matters in a clear and concise manner)
- Be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Be able to exchange accurate information with staff/clients who have inquiries
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a mouse, keyboard, scanner, copier, and calculator
Responsibilities
- Review existing documentation for key information and specifications
- Analyze data using appropriate quantitative methods
- Review and verify tabular and spatial data against design or completion drawings for accuracy and consistency
- Provide client with necessary documentation and reports
- Update and inform project coordinator with relevant project status and information
- Perform engineering design and calculations, with minimal supervision
- Review construction documents and report
- Monitor and ensure maintenance of tracking logs and all project coordination tools to include project status, challenges, estimated project end date, and project completion
