Summary
Divergent is a technology company that has developed an end-to-end factory system called DAPSβ’ to optimally engineer, manufacture, and assemble complex vehicle structures and subsystems. The company is expanding into the Aerospace and Defense sector and is interviewing candidates for an internship program. Internships will vary depending on each candidate's area of expertise. Candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Masterβs degree program from an accredited college or university in mechanical engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or other engineering discipline. Preferred qualifications include the ability to work onsite in Torrance, CA, 30+ hours of weekly availability, attention to detail, engineering problem solving capabilities, basic knowledge of engineering and equipment, prior knowledge of analysis tools, prior programming experience, application of technical skills outside of the classroom, ability to collaborate across different teams, and self-directedness with a positive attitude.
