Join Aleph, an AI-native platform for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), as an Engineering Manager to lead our Applied AI team. You will play a pivotal role in driving the development, delivery, and optimization of AI agents for financial planning and analysis. This role combines technical leadership, strategic planning, and team management to ensure successful project execution, continuous product improvement, and team growth. We are seeking Engineering Managers excited about being close to the code and hands-on with technical delivery. You will report to the CTO and manage a mix of existing and new engineers. Aleph is a fast-growing company with low churn and strong growth, backed by top VCs and working with major customers. We are hiring remotely across the Americas.
Requirements
- Proven track record of 5+ years of experience in software engineering, 2+ years in a management role focused on AI
- Experience building and shipping high-quality user-facing products in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the domain of no-code or data tools
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team of engineers
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- High tolerance for ambiguity and change, with the ability to jump into whatever areas need attention and learn as you go
- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals to help mentor engineers to solve complex technical problems and drive innovation
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Drive the execution of projects from conception to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer expectations
- Provide technical guidance, expertise, and oversight to the team, ensuring the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes
- Lead by example through hands-on contribution to code reviews, architecture discussions, and problem-solving
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing transparency, updates, and insights on project status, risks, and opportunities
