Requirements

• Proven track record of leading engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software on time at a startup
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Strong technical background and a belief that it’s important to be able to do the work you’re asking others to do
• Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, testing automation, and modern development tools and practices
• Data-driven outcomes validate your work
• Ability to make decisions and find alignment with the team

Responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-caliber engineering team
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects
• Maintain a strong understanding of the technology stack and architecture
• Work closely with product, design, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment
• Identify, analyze, and solve complex problems that arise
• Convey complex technical and project information clearly and concisely
• Stay updated on industry best practices, technologies, and frameworks
• Make informed, data-driven decisions quickly and effectively
• Enjoys taking initiative; doesn’t need to gather a team around them to get things done

Benefits

Total compensation for this position can range from $180,000 - $220,000
