The job is for an Engineering Implementation team member at Interface.ai, a fast-growing Conversational AI SaaS company in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate should have 11-15 years of commercial application development experience with J2EE, a Master's or Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering from reputed colleges, and exposure to AWS cloud, agile methodologies, and product implementation.

Requirements

  • Master's / bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering from reputed colleges
  • Requires 11-15 years commercial application development experience utilizing J2EE
  • Working experience on the configuration management and build/release planning & management
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering SAAS products to multiple customers
  • Key requirement is an ability to quickly learn and stay current with new technologies
  • Experience with Javascript related technologies like NodeJS
  • Proven ability to collaborate broadly with a flexible, positive attitude and ability to get results
  • Proven track record of hiring and training the right people for the team
  • Should be well versed in agile methodologies and should plan and execute the sprints
  • Exposure to product implementation
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate to the senior executive level and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Planning and execution of strategies for completing projects on time
  • Researching and developing technical designs and architecture
  • Determining the need for training and talent development
  • Providing clear direction to the teams
  • Planning and Prioritization of Technical Backlog
  • Hiring and grooming of team members
  • Collaborate effectively with Product, Program, Support and Operations team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Having participated in product building or having work experience in a startup company is of added advantage
  • Working experience in any cloud environment and exposure to AWS cloud would be an advantage
  • Experience in application deployment including configuration, deploying and debugging
  • Exposure to debugging & resolving production issues
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills; ability to break down complex problems and formulate plans
  • Prior experience being part of a product development team is a big plus
  • Exposure to performance tuning & resolving production issues in previous engagements is a plus
  • Exposure to working on high volume data driven applications will be a plus
