Engineering Manager

Summary

Join Pulumi as an Engineering Manager passionate about IaC and lead a team in building developer tools. This role requires 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager or similar leadership roles, strong technical background, exceptional communication skills, and comfort with various technologies. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager or in a similar leadership role
• Strong technical background with the ability to guide design and architecture
• Hands-on experience in coding and technical problem-solving
• Comfort with building and iterating on both Open Source and Enterprise products
• Comfort with all/some of the following: Amazon Web Services, MySQL, elasticsearch, AI/ML, building robust and resilient systems
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a fast-paced, agile environment is a plus

• Manage the engineering process, working with product, executives and engineers to set realistic deadlines, and keep the Service team on track to meet its deliverables
• Advocate for customer needs and perspectives in all engineering efforts
• Ensure that our products and services delight our customers and drive their success
• Guide design and architecture discussions, ensuring technical excellence
• Collaborate with principal engineers and contribute to code when necessary
• Ensure steady operations and drive a DevOps culture within the team

Benefits

• Base Salary Hiring Range: $180,500 - $227,850
• All full-time employee offers at Pulumi include base salary, bonus or variable, equity and benefits
