Summary
Join Iterable as an AI Manager and lead initiatives driving Data Science and Machine Learning projects, enabling marketers to personalize audience outreach. You will oversee a team building end-to-end ML systems, optimizing consumer experiences, and scaling to large volumes. Requirements
- University or advanced degree in CS, Math, Physics, or similar engineering/science discipline or equivalent practical experience
- Experience mentoring and managing AI development teams
- Proven experience deploying machine learning systems into Production
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and tools, artificial intelligence, deep learning, natural language processing, or other ML disciplines
- Knowledge of data pipeline and workflow management tools
- Expertise in standard software best practices, e.g. unit testing, test automation, continuous integration, code reviews, design documentation
- Proficiency in problem-solving and analytical skills, with proven experience in innovating solutions for complex challenges
- Excellent communication collaboration skills and are adept at conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse team of Data and ML engineers in building end-to-end ML systems to address our business challenges and opportunities
- Collaborate with application engineering, product, and partner teams to design machine learning solutions and plan new capabilities
- Collaborate with research and product teams to deploy generative AI technology and cutting-edge ML models
- Be both highly technical and an effective team leader
- Operationalize ML systems for rapid and safe deployment, ensuring seamless and reliable integrations into our platform
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering their professional growth and development
- Contribute to and promote best practices to write and maintain production-level AI code and ship products in an iterative, continual-release environment
- Attract world-class talent and provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members
- Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for data analyses, model development, validation and implementation
Preferred Qualifications
- Scala (or other functional) programming experience
- Experience working with Databricks
- Exposure to marketing technology
