Summary

Join Kojo, a fast-growing construction technology company, as their hands-on ERP Integrations Engineering Manager. This role involves building synchronization services and product features connecting third-party ERP systems with Kojo. You will make hands-on contributions to the integrations team, manage a team of software engineers, support product managers and customers, and drive mature documentation and support patterns. The position requires strong technical skills and experience in API/integration development for SaaS products. This is a fully remote position for candidates residing in Central or South America, with a salary range of $75,000-$100,000 USD commensurate with experience and location. Requirements

  • Strong technical background, and proven track record of building APIs / integrations for complex customer-facing SaaS products (7+ years professional and management experience preferred)
  • Experience working with Github, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, node.js/TypeScript (or a similar tech stack)
  • Experience in collaboration across timezones and effective leadership in a remote environment
  • Team player who enjoys learning, teaching, and collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Make hands-on contributions to the goals of Kojo’s integrations crew in the areas of building/testing/deploying code
  • Manage the integrations team of software engineers and ensure that they are delivering on the right priorities (and neither drop the ball nor get side tracked by distractions)
  • Support product manager and customers’ technical staff by answering technical questions from customers and partnering with them to build integrations
  • Drive mature documentation and support patterns that balance pragmatism with scalability and reliability
  • Shepherd quarterly planning process for the the integrations crew, including cataloging and managing our technical debt and making continuous improvements to ongoing areas of technical challenges
  • Participate in engineering incident response and apply high standards of stability and maintainability to the area of ownership
  • Manage projects by coordinating across product, design, and engineering, scoping tickets, unblocking engineers, and considering interactions with other parts of the product
  • Represent the integrations team’s abilities and growth opportunities to the rest of engineering and senior leadership
