Engineering Manager

Summary

Join StrongDM, a company driven by a mission to secure access with Zero Trust, and lead multiple software engineering teams. As an Engineering Manager, you will build new features, foster a culture of growth, and partner with stakeholders to align team contributions with company objectives. You will also drive cross-team collaboration and contribute to engineering-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate has 3+ years managing multiple software development teams and 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with compiled languages like C/C++, Go, or Rust. Experience with enterprise SaaS products and remote work is preferred. StrongDM offers a competitive salary (30,000-50,000 PLN per month) plus equity.

Requirements

• You have a passion for enabling and motivating people to do their best work
• You work very well cross-functionally, and are able to think rigorously and make hard decisions and tradeoffs
• 3 or more years of experience managing multiple software development teams
• 7 or more years of previous hands-on software development experience
• Familiarity or past experience with compiled languages such as C/C++, Go or Rust

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple software development teams
• Hire, develop, and grow the talent in the team
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure your teams' contributions align with company objectives, develop technology roadmaps, and set realistic product release schedules
• Drive cross-team collaboration and communication with other internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of strongDM’s engineering management team, helping us build high-performance teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with building enterprise SaaS products
• Remote experience
