Engineering Manager, Cloud AI

Summary

Join Pulumi as an Engineering Manager and lead the team building the future of Pulumi Copilot and Pulumi AI products. You will integrate AI capabilities across the Pulumi Cloud, balancing keeping up with new AI advances with continuous product releases. This role requires strong leadership, mentoring, and technical skills in AI/ML. You will guide design and architecture discussions, ensuring technical excellence and a customer-centric approach. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager or in a similar leadership role
• 2+ years in AI/ML and surrounding technologies
• Strong technical background with the ability to guide design and architecture
• Hands-on experience in coding and technical problem-solving
• Comfort with building and iterating on both Open Source and Enterprise products
• Comfort with all/some of the following: Amazon Web Services, MySQL, elasticsearch, AI/ML, building robust and resilient systems
• Exceptional communication, both written and verbal
• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Collaborate with principal engineers and contribute to code when necessary
