Summary

Hims & Hers is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for its Mobile Team. The role involves leading the engineering team, implementing processes, championing continuous improvement, working cross-functionally, ensuring rigorous assurance of mobile platforms, helping drive prioritization and tradeoffs, and delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced company.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant work experience in software engineering, leading teams to deliver in high-pressure environments (e.g. tight deadlines, evolving requirements)
• Experience with modern mobile technologies and frameworks (React, React Native, GraphQL, Javascript, Typescript)
• Experience in designing, building, and scaling mobile platforms
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
• Must be a 'self-starter' with a can-do attitude and execution mindset
• Strong business acumen with the ability to see 'big picture' and strategize
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with business units

• Lead, motivate, and develop your engineering team, fostering a growth mindset and providing opportunities for professional development
• Implement and manage processes to ensure efficient and effective execution and delivery
• Champion continuous improvement by identifying and implementing solutions that enhance scalability and performance
• Work cross-functionally and engage effectively with the rest of Hims & Hers engineering groups
• Ensure rigorous assurance of mobile platforms in an agile environment
• Help drive prioritization and tradeoffs in defining the product roadmap and create an execution roadmap
