Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of Computer Science & Software Engineering
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's degree preferred
  • At least eight years of related experience required

Responsibilities

  • Hire and build a globally distributed, happy, and successful team
  • Plan and execute long-term strategies that benefit your team and the product stage(s)
  • Understand Engineering KPIs and seek to improve them
  • Generate and implement process improvements
  • Hold regular 1:1s with team members
  • Provide your team with management mentorship
  • Enable quad planning team collaboration within product groups
  • Enable Product, Quality, and UX performance via solid, stable counterpart partnership
  • Give regular and clear feedback on individuals’ performance
  • Draft quarterly OKRs and Engineering KPIs
  • Improve product quality, security, and performance
  • Participate in the Incident Management on-call rotation to help ensure the availability goals are met, by working with reliability engineers and development team members

  • Prior experience with Workforce Management Scheduling and Optimization
