Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Lead Engineer
  • Strong background in software development and system architecture
  • Experience with incident management, on-call processes, and debugging production issues
  • Knowledge of observability & monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic)
  • Expertise in SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices, including incident prevention, automation, and post-mortem analysis
  • Proficiency in stakeholder management and cross-functional communication
  • Experience leading technical teams, managing priorities, and ensuring high-performance execution
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess risks, prioritize work, and guide technical decisions
  • Fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of engineers, ensuring high performance and growth
  • Own workload planning and prioritization, ensuring tasks align with business needs and technical strategy
  • Foster a strong team culture of accountability, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
  • Assume end-to-end responsibility for platform(s), ensuring stability, scalability, and maintainability
  • Provide technical guidance on system architecture, development best practices, and performance optimization
  • Actively participate in debugging and troubleshooting across the entire tech stack
  • Implement and enforce observability & monitoring best practices, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution
  • Develop and oversee on-call planning, ensuring efficient incident response and resolution
  • Own incident management, quickly diagnosing technical issues and coordinating a response
  • Implement SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices, including post-mortem analysis, automation, and continuous improvement to enhance system resilience
  • Act as a liaison between engineering and stakeholders, translating technical insights into business impact
  • Gain deep business knowledge, understanding how platform(s) contribute to company goals
  • Provide regular updates to leadership, product teams, and other business units on project progress, challenges, and opportunities
