Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. , or a related field (Science, Engineering, or Mathematics), with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven background in systems engineering. and project management. with a focus on cost, scheduling, and technical leadership
  • Experience leading complex programs in Guidance and Control Systems. or related defense technologies
  • U.S. Citizenship. required due to the nature of the work; DoD Secret Clearance. preferred or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

  • Drive technical excellence and provide guidance across a wide array of cutting-edge development technologies
  • Serve as a key contributor to major development and production systems, applying advanced technology principles to solve complex challenges
  • Ensure seamless integration, testing, and verification of project requirements, delivering high-quality systems on time and within scope
  • Lead and resolve technical issues, implement solutions, and oversee engineering plans, risk assessments, and opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain adherence to program-specific standards and practices, ensuring smooth execution of engineering efforts
  • Inspire and lead a high-performing, cross-functional engineering team, providing clear direction and motivation
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, chief engineers, and program managers to plan and monitor all engineering work
  • Regularly conduct status reviews. and present findings to senior leadership, taking corrective actions when necessary to keep projects on track
  • Manage project resources (e.g., staffing, capital equipment) and ensure the team has the necessary skills and tools to succeed
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, driving innovation while ensuring project goals are met or exceeded
