Remote Enrollment Counselor

Summary

Join American College of Education as an Enrollment Counselor and be responsible for recruiting qualified candidates into our Masters, Doctoral, Certificate and Professional Development programs. You will counsel prospective students through the full life cycle of the enrollment process, developing initial relationships, exploring needs, and providing personalized solution offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of enrollment experience
• Excellent presentation skills both verbal and written
• Ability to develop professional rapport with prospective students
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines: displays high level of accuracy
• Knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Conducts prospective student interviews: Matches College benefits to students’ needs by providing accurate information related to all college and program specific information
• Uncovers prospective student motivations and concerns, as well as overcomes objections through problem solving using a consultative approach
• Maintains consistent contact with prospective students and provides the highest level of customer service
• Effectively uses technology and established business processes; responsible for documenting all student interactions into CRM
• Adheres to all school/company policies and procedures as well as federal, state and compliance regulations
