Enterprise Architect

Summary

The job is a System Architect position at AnaVation supporting federal cybersecurity engineering. The role involves providing direct cybersecurity support to specific projects, pilots, and prototypes, and contributing to the engineering of current and emerging cybersecurity systems. The position is eligible for maximum telework (>50%) and can be based in Sterling, VA or Rockville, MD.

Requirements

• 8+ years of proven experience as a System Architect with experience in development of conceptual and logical architecture
• Excellent systems documentation and architecture diagram skills with a thorough understanding of systems architecture, engineering, administration, configuration, and security procedures
• Experience developing DODAF architecture diagrams
• Experience defining Business and Solution Requirements
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate the team’s architecture work with the Government, maintain, and enhance architecture plans and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to develop enterprise and project architecture artifacts and lead support for the program’s architecture databases
• Must have an active Secret clearance
• Must be able to obtain DHS EOD

Responsibilities

• Provide direct cybersecurity engineering support to specific projects, pilots, and prototypes
• Contribute to the engineering of current and emerging cybersecurity systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Active DHS HQ EOD
• Experience with SAFe
• Experience with transformation projects
• Experience with agency unification projects
• Experience with project management
• Hands-on experience with NoMagic, Cameo Enterprise Architecture/MagicDraw/Cameo Systems Modeler, System Architect, or other equivalent enterprise architecture tools
• Experience working with multiple teams and ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders at various levels within and outside of the organization to bring together the solution
• Experience in systems engineering requirements and concept development, systems hardware and software design and development, and system integration
• Hold cloud computing certification (e.g., AWS Certified, Microsoft Azure Certified, CCSP, CompTIA Cloud+)
• Hold cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, GSEC)
