Summary

Join StrongDM as an Enterprise Business Development Representative and contribute to our mission of secure access and zero trust. You will generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, working closely with the sales team to qualify leads and schedule demos. This fully remote role requires self-motivation, multitasking, and independent work. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in outbound sales, preferably in SaaS cybersecurity, and a desire to build a long-term career. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with proficiency in CRM and sales tools. StrongDM offers a competitive compensation package, including base salary plus commission, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

  • A desire to pursue a career in Sales. This isnโ€™t a stop-gap type of job. Weโ€™re looking for people who want to build their careers with us and are excited at the opportunity to do that
  • Proven track record of success in generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Being a self-starter is a must!
  • Ability to learn technology both from a product standpoint and manage technical applications needed for the role
  • Proficiency with CRM and other sales tools, including G-Suite (Gmail, Sheets, etc), LinkedIn Navigator, and ZoomInfo
  • Live in one of the following states: TX, NV, NJ, AZ, AL, MA, OR, IL, KS, NY, PA, SC, FL, NC, VA, VT, GA or TN

Responsibilities

  • Prospect into a wide range of companies, with a focus on Fortune 1000 companies, to introduce the StrongDM solution
  • Identify and reach out to key decision-makers at target accounts via phone, email, and social media
  • Use CRM and other tools to track and manage prospecting activity and pipeline
  • Work closely with the sales team to qualify and schedule demos for interested prospects
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize outbound prospecting campaigns
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in outbound sales preferred, preferably in the SaaS Cybersecurity industry
  • Youโ€™re hungry and understand the startup grind. You are persistent and can maintain consistent levels of high productivity
  • Affinity for technology a plus
  • Experience working remotely highly preferred - you must be a self-starter
