Summary

This individual contributor role involves managing the full sales cycle, developing account plans, and cross-selling to strategic customers. You will be responsible for account mapping, stakeholder engagement, and refining sales skills through feedback and collaboration. The position requires experience in sales or account management, specifically within the logistics industry, and proficiency in sales productivity tools. Requirements

  • 4–5 years of direct sales or account management experience with expansion responsibilities, consistently exceeding quota in entrepreneurial, team-oriented environments
  • 2–3 years of experience leading complex sales cycles, including negotiations with Enterprise organizations
  • Proficient in using sales productivity tools such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Experience selling WMS or warehouse software services, or implementing warehouse/transportation/logistics software
  • Comfortable engaging with decision-makers in the logistics industry and understanding the challenges they face
  • Strong presentation skills, especially in in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Work with existing Loadsmart partnerships to develop and execute long-term sales plans to expand Loadsmart’s revenue
  • Own the full sales cycle, from business case development, to deal structuring and negotiating, to close
  • Develop account plans and cross-sell into a list of strategic customers, driving growth through expansion and new revenue streams
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of accounts with defined success metrics to drive deal strategy and commercial negotiations for large, complex renewals
  • Responsible for account mapping and executing effective meetings with appropriate external stakeholders to expand the customer relationship
  • Constantly refine sales skills with sales management and sales enablement, and seek/apply constructive feedback to improve
  • Actively share Voice of Customer insights with Product and Engineering teams to enhance value and build competitive barriers
  • Strive to become a Subject Matter Expert on Loadsmart’s business, the competition, and the industry
  • Participate as an active member of the collaborative sales team and contribute to a culture of sales success
  • Conduct on-site and virtual QBRs, helping shape the future of Loadsmart’s software and customer acquisition strategies
