Summary

Fusion Technology is hiring an experienced Environmental Occupational Health and Safety Professional (EOHS) for travel to FAA Facilities. The position offers a salary between $120,000 - $155,000 and full benefits with possible Clearance sponsorship. Duties include collecting asbestos samples, conducting asbestos surveys, performing site visits, reviewing documents, arranging meetings, and interacting with various personnel.

Requirements

• A bachelor of science degree (4-years) from an accredited college/university
• 5 years of industrial hygiene experience, which includes a minimum of 2 years of asbestos experience

Responsibilities

• Collect asbestos samples in accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) ‘Method for the Determination of Asbestos in Bulk Building Materials’ (EPA 600-R-93-116)
• Conduct asbestos surveys
• Perform site visits and create trip reports
• Review and critique documents. Compare to Federal, state, and local regulations, including consensus standards where applicable
• Arrange and attend meetings and telecons with stakeholders. Prepare agendas, documents, and other items to support these functions
