Summary

Join Concentric, a global risk consultancy, as a remote Executive & Workplace Violence Prevention Manager! Based in the US, you will manage workplace violence prevention for a client's global offices and employees. Responsibilities include threat assessment, investigation, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in workplace violence prevention, protective intelligence and/or investigatory role, ideally in technology or creative office environments
  • Experience conducting investigations, intelligence collection and analysis, and case management
  • Mastery of open source research and online investigative tools and techniques
  • Current member (or ability to become a member) of professional threat assessment organizations (i.e. Association of Threat Assessment Professionals)
  • Ability to sometimes work non-traditional hours (e.g. nights, weekends, and holidays) and potentially respond to emergent or time sensitive situations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrable during the interview process
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (years of experience may be substituted for education)
  • Must be highly adaptable and flexible on a global team
  • Maintain a positive attitude and drive to maintain knowledge and skills related to the field of workplace violence prevention and/or protective intelligence
  • Ability to build partnerships, work collaboratively and cross-functionally across global teams
  • Must be self-driven and demonstrate critical thinking stills to make sound decisions in a face paced environment
  • This position requires up to 20% travel

Responsibilities

  • Ability to identify, investigate, analyze, and manage threats of violence toward global offices, executives, and employees
  • Utilize evidence-based risk assessment and threat assessment tools, backed by relevant training and experience
  • Deliver timely and actionable workplace violence prevention assessments to support executive protection and enterprise-wide security operations
  • Conduct research using open-source intelligence, law enforcement databases, social media platforms, and deep/dark web resources to identify known and potential threats impacting offices, executives, and employees
  • Foster effective relationships with local law enforcement partners, investigative teams, research organizations, and intelligence vendors to enhance safety and security efforts
  • Collaborate effectively with our Community Support, Executive Protection, Global Threat Assessment, Regional Security Management, and Open Source Intelligence team members on related threats
  • Develop and maintain management of the life cycle of a case that may impact the business, Executives and employees
  • Maintain global situational awareness of potential and developing threats and prepare impact analyses for leadership
  • Partner closely with global teams such as Employee Relations, Legal, Regional Security, and Talent partners on internal employee investigations
  • Draft clear and concise reports, and conduct briefings that provide factual-based conclusions and case management recommendations to inform security decision-making for offices, executives, and employees

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to learn rapidly and organize work, set security strategy and priorities, delegate tasks, and meet multiple deadlines
  • Holistic workplace violence case management experience
  • Knowledge of and ability to research and utilize evidence-based practices and clinical practice guidelines appropriately and ability to guide staff and partners in using these tools
  • Ability to deal effectively with individuals or groups representing widely divergent backgrounds, geographic regions, interests, and points of view
  • Skill in managing and collaborating with the work of others to accomplish program goals and objectives
  • Ability to establish and monitor performance metrics, priorities and standards
  • Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and to develop and implement solutions that result in sound operation of the program
  • Familiarization with employment regulations for workplace investigations
