Family Advocacy Coordinator in Germany

Summary

The job involves serving as a point of contact for family wellness promotion programs, synchronizing and supporting their execution, reviewing and standardizing related policies and procedures, monitoring child abuse/neglect cases, and facilitating family advocacy support and education programs. The requirements include a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related fields, at least two years of experience in child protection services or domestic violence prevention, proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, multilingual abilities in German or Spanish, and the ability to pass DoD background checks. Travel is also required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or related fields
• At least two years in child protection services or domestic violence prevention
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills
• Multilingual abilities in German or Spanish are advantageous
• Must pass DoD background checks
• A minimum of 24 hours in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, Public Administration and/or Public Health
• Ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for family wellness promotion programs

• Review and standardize policies, procedures, command briefings, and provider training related to family advocacy
• Monitor, document, and follow up on child abuse/neglect cases
• Facilitate and coordinate family advocacy support and education programs
