Federal Solutions Engineer

Requirements

• Willingness and interest to travel up to 25%
• 3+ years of experience as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps
• Experience leading successful, customer-facing engagements, including deployments directly in customers’ environments
• Ability to write and maintain scripts in Python, especially for automation, API interactions, and data manipulation
• Professional experience with deployment technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and tools of major cloud service providers (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools
• Familiarity with security best practices, including securing containerized applications and resolving vulnerabilities
• Experience with Government DevSecOps tools such as IronBank and PlatformOne is a plus
• Excellent communications skills, including the ability to facilitate effective collaboration across teams and articulate technical solutions and value propositions to non-technical stakeholders
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, fluid environment, operating effectively both with relative independence and as a member of small teams
• Experience with or interest in building Retrieval Augmented Generation applications
• Active US Security Clearance at the Top Secret level or higher
• Ability and willingness to obtain a US Security Clearance at Top Secret / Secure Compartment Information

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution on post-sales engagements, ensuring delivery excellence and forging strong relationships with our federal users, and deploying our tools in virtual private clouds and on-premises
• Become an expert at using the Unstructured API and Platform, building and presenting reference architectures, technical guides, and onboarding material for users
• Provide top-notch support and guidance on the deployment, integration, and/or use of our AI-enabling products
• Help grow our deployments through technical support to business development activities (giving demos and workshops, building prototypes, etc.)
• Partner with our product managers and engineering leads to identify and prioritize feature development based on customer feedback and market signal
