Summary
Join Unstructured, a cutting-edge technology startup, as a Technical Delivery/Engagement Manager. You will manage complex customer engagements within the USG, ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong technical skills, experience in defense or national security, and excellent communication abilities. You will collaborate with various teams, optimize delivery processes, and build strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, experience with AI/ML, and a proven track record of success in similar roles. Location preference is Florida or North Carolina.
Requirements
- 5+ years of success leading complex engagements with defense or national security customers as a technical delivery manager, technical program manager, deployment strategist, or a similar role
- Demonstrated success driving delivery and user adoption of technical products
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and articulate technical solutions and value propositions to non-technical stakeholders
- Interest and success working in a fast-paced, fluid environment with both relative independence and as a member of small teams
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a record of owning problems end-to-end
- Experience with Python, Kubernetes, CLI deployments, and SDLC best practices
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Technical Delivery in a Defense environment + customer facing role is required
- Active US Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher. Ability and willingness to obtain a US Security Clearance at Top Secret / Secure Compartment Information
Responsibilities
- Own overall responsibility for delivering successful customer engagements from short, focused POCs to multi-year enterprise contracts, ensuring business objectives and contractual requirements are met
- Help define and iteratively improve our overall delivery motion, including developing metrics and playbooks to evaluate and enhance delivery success
- Use deep knowledge of Unstructured’s capabilities and customer needs to drive adoption and usage of Unstructured’s applications
- Build long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth
- Partner with colleagues across Unstructured to further overall company success
- Work closely with the solutions engineers responsible for technical delivery
- Partner with account executives (AEs) to ensure seamless handoffs between pre-sales activities and post-sales implementations
- Help our product and engineering teams build tools that customers love by gathering and advocating for customer requirements
- Work with marketing to facilitate customer testimonials and case studies
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong technical background to understand and meet customer needs
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and applications, including LLM-powered applications
- Experience with both SaaS products and especially on-prem deployments
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.)
