Summary

Join Arlo Solutions as a Senior Technical Manager supporting the IRS Deputy Chief Information Officer. This remote role, requiring a Secret clearance, is crucial for enhancing customer service, bolstering enforcement, and securing taxpayer information through innovative IT infrastructure improvements. You will lead efforts to integrate Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) IT programs, analyze impacts of new operating models, design and implement operating models, and ensure efficient portfolio management. The successful candidate will drive strategic collaboration and execute across IT departments, supporting the IRA Strategic Operating Plan. This position is contingent upon award.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT systems and technical management
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience managing enterprise-level IT systems and infrastructure
  • Strong background in IT governance and portfolio management
  • Experience with modern delivery methodologies (Agile, DevOps)
  • Knowledge of federal IT security requirements and compliance frameworks
  • Experience integrating legacy and modern systems
  • Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate government-led prioritization, progress tracking, and reporting of activities, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Support risk identification and mitigation plans, ensuring proactive management of potential issues
  • Lead the integration of IRA IT programs and projects into existing governance and prioritization processes, fostering collaboration across stakeholders
  • Analyze the impacts of new operating models on delivery processes and recommend strategic improvements
  • Design and implement a product-and-platform operating model for IT, including proof of concept and final versions
  • Evaluate and enhance data quality and practices for portfolio management tools, ensuring efficient tracking of key milestones and dependencies
  • Conduct stakeholder impact assessments and develop comprehensive change management strategies to support IRA IT implementation
  • Execute communication and organizational readiness activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems
  • Provide strategic inputs for executive communications and briefings, aligning with the Communications Strategy & Plan
